Jeremiah Smith is now being recognized among the best players in the country, not just the best receivers.
After being named to the watch list for the Biletnikoff Award on Wednesday, Smith landed on the watch list for the Maxwell Award on Thursday.
The Maxwell Football Club today announced its mid-season watch list additions for the 88th Maxwell Award presented to the college player of the year and the 30th Chuck Bednarik Award presented annually to the outstanding defensive player in college football.
