The offensive coaching wasn't as bad as it appeared at first glance. Some key takeaways: Will Howard was playing poorly. He wasn't seeing the field well or delivering the ball where it was supposed to go Michigan's DLine absolutely dominated our Oline. Because their Dline was dominating, they didn't have to commit any extra people to stopping the run. So they could play extra guys in coverage. There wasn't a lot of places to go with the football The numbers game (the amount of defenders playing run vs pass) suggested OSU should run. But it wasn't successful because of the Dline/Oline mismatch. It was hard to pass because Howard was playing bad and UM had a lot guys in coverage. Rock and a hard place. UM has great defensive lineman but OSU needs great lineman who can hold their own. Best believe a team like Texas would expose this oline. Offensive line and Frye's shitty recruiting doomed this season
