I got to thinking recently about the "Fire Ryan Day" chatter after the TTUN game and how it has compared to previous head football coaches at OSU. I became a Buckeye fan at the start of the 2002 season so I have only known Tressel, Meyer, and Day as head coaches.

Was this chatter at all similar to Cooper or any coach before? Can this even compare to the past as we now have social media in ways never seen before Tressel? Having not paid attention to college football before 2002, I am trying to understand how great the fervor really was before these playoffs started.
