Seeing how this team is currently clicking and knowing any other year they would’ve never had a chance. What team(s) do you think from the past would’ve maybe or definitely brought home a natty in the current 12 team system.

i know everyone immediately will think of 2015, and I agree that team wins it all that year if they get in the playoffs.

my dark horse is 2005, imo best defense in the country that year, and the way the offense found their groove at the the end. Maybe it’s just from how they picked apart Notre Dame in the Fiesta Bowl, but I would’ve loved to see that team have a shot in the playoffs.
