For as much grief we had with Will Howard throwing the deep ball (especially early in the season), he is completing at a significantly better percentage and a better TD/INT ratio compared to Ewers. If Howard continues to perform at the same level as the last two games, we should have no issue handling Texas.
Also Arizona State let Texas complete the 4th down deep pass in the middle of the field for a TD looks even more horrific in light of the stats below:
