In the times we haven’t been able to run the ball efficiently, it was largely due to big and skilled DTs (obviously). Notre Dame’s defensive line looks and plays small. They may be fast and pretty skilled, but I think we will be able to run the ball very effectively. They will undoubtedly put a large emphasis on Jeremiah Smith, weakening their run defense even further. Even though our offensive line isn’t great, we have such a large advantage in the trenches factoring in the DLine studs, this game could get out of hand quickly. (And it’s hard to imagine their skill players are near ours). Of course, both of their lines may step up and play well, but if we play out A game up front, it’ll be a blowout quickly.
Notre Dame Cannot Stop the Run.
