Is it just me, or does that loss to Oregon seem like a LONG time ago?
In fact: The Title Game (1/20) will mark 100 days SINCE that last second loss in Eugene.
Monday marks 51 days since that loss to Michigan, which, after Tennessee beatdown, Xmas, New Years Eve, Oregon beatdown, Sawyer Rising, and now... yeah, we sometimes forget this is the same squad that fell to the leather helmet offense up north.
This season began on Labor Day weekend and ends on MLK/Inauguration Day: spanning 142 days. That's 48 hours LONGER than the gap between the spring game and the Opener.

CFB purists emoted an expanded playoff will diminish the regular season. They were right. Without expansion, there was a 0% chance this squad plays for a title.
- The season's also weird: Since the advent of the BCS (best of 2, 1998) or CFP (best of 4, 2014) there isn't a SINGLE conference champ in the final 4 (or 2).
- Who here remembers OSU's 2005 regular season loss to Texas which basically knocked them out of the only two playoff spots?
- Now, OSU didn't win the B1G, didn't win the gold pants, and they're in the title game against a team that lost to Northern Illinois.
And regardless of Monday's result -- only 82 days until Spring Game of 2025. (assuming April 12, 2025).
