So happy for Ryan Day and his Buckeyes. What a monster accomplishment! But it's the sports media's stupid take that we entered the season as THE favorite to win a Natty that has me shaking head and fists in angry old man fashion.   

Did they forget that nearly no one picked Ohio State as the number 1 team preseason?  That was almost unanimously assigned to Georgia. We were a consensus 2-3 team and for sure a contender, but no the hands down favorite. Nearly everyone had the Bulldogs as the favorite. The revisionist crap just to build a dramatic riches to rags to riches again story narrative.
