He makes some great points, most salient of which is that it was "our time".  And he's right.  We suffered some close calls that went against us in the recent past.  We just needed a few breaks this year.

And we weren't getting them!  O-line injuries threatened the season.  If not for the O-line coach and the O-coordinator and the studs that stepped up, injuries would have been the most recent disasters to derail an elite run.  (And can you imagine if Will Howard would have gone down? <shudder>)

Finally the bad breaks didn't occur, ultimately.  Or, as Ryan Day puts it, they worked through the adversity.  Seems like that's his theme for this year.
