Given the heat he received after the Bitchigan game for his 2 missed field goals, I felt it was necessary to give him some praise for his resilience. I was one of the people calling for his job after losing to TCUN. So to see him bounce back after having to battle for his job and not fold because of a bad game and show throughout the playoffs why he won the job again was amazing. Especially the final field goal that sealed the game after seeing his counterpart from the same spot on the opposite side of the field doink it off the uprights. He stepped up and drilled it to crush what remaining hopes Notre Dame had like a pop can. It was also crucial he kicked every kickoff to the back of the end zone to keep the ball out of Harrison's hands the whole game. Congratulations to a good young man that deserved to seal the game as much as anyone on that team.
