I am still basking in the glory of this championship victory. I am going to enjoy it but I can't help but wonder about next year. This is peak off season topic but:
What are your expectations for the 2025 OSU football season?
Would you be ok with a 9-3 season as OSU is working in new starters?
What if we get blown out by Texas in the season opener?
God forbid, what if we lose to Michigan again? <insert Don't you put that evil on me, Ricky Bobby gif>
I know some fans would call for Ryan Day's firing but would you be in the same boat?
I think winning the championship would earn Ryan Day at least one more year of losing to Michigan. That being said, I only have one goal for the 2025 Buckeyes and that's beating Michigan. I don't think we will win the championship next year so I would be ok if we lose 4 games as long as we beat Michigan. I honestly think Ryan Day should spend some time every week preparing for Michigan.
What are your goals for the 2025 team?
What are your expectations for Julian Sayin and would you be ok if he has a similar impact as Kyle Mccord? Julian is only a sophomore and could improve over the next couple years. Would you be patient enough to wait for it?
What are your expectations of Brandon Inniss, Caden Curry, Eddrick Houston, Kenyatta Jackson, Jermaine Mathews, Arvell Reese, and Luke Montgomery?
What are your expectations of Caleb Downs, Sonny Styles, Carnell Tate, and Jeremiah Smith?
If you want OSU to win the natty next year, they would need All Americans. That means Jeremiah Smith, Caleb Downs, and at least 4 other players have to be All Americans. Who would those people be?
