It was clear to me as the playoffs progressed that Ohio State was the best team in College Football this year.

You played the 3 toughest teams in the BIG this year (Oregon (2), Penn State (1) and Indiana (1) and only lost by one point on the road once.

I think I could live to 100 years old and never understand how you lost to Michigan this year.

I was on the Tennessee and Notre Dame boards and of course I heard the flack about how Franklin can't win the big game.  But I reminded them that his biggest game is against Ohio State every year and Ohio State is incredibly hard to beat.  Before both games, I said to Tennessee and Notre Dame fans "If it's so easy to do, lets see you beat them.  And I heard all the flack that Penn State was overated and that their teams could beat Ohio State.

Needless to say I didn't hear much from them after Tennessee lost by 25 and Notre Dame lost by 11 in a game that wasn't as close as the final score indicated.

Maybe one day Penn State will break through against Ohio State.  But the way you demolished the competition proved to me Ohio State was one to two touchdowns better than everyone else.  The fact Penn State only lost by 7 to a great team gives me hope for the future.

My biggest disappontment was losing to Notre Dame in the semi-finals.  I thought Penn State was the better team and I was mad Notre Dame got to keep all that playoff money for themselves while Ohio State and Penn State had to share theirs with the rest of the conference. 

I know Penn State wasn't good enough to beat Ohio State but I bt we would have at least given them more competition than Tennessee and Notre Dame did.

Anyway congratulations again on your victory and we'll try again to beat you guys next year.
