This was a question from the Dubcast this week but I thought it rated its own post to give more people a chance to share where they land.
BE HONEST...
"Notre Dame scored the first points of the game as the Fighting Irish had a lot of success on their opening drive. Did that make you nervous?"
I can honestly say I really wasn't that nervous. At the watch party I was at I was telling everyone that I don't get nervous about first drive TDs due to the fact they are still running off of the pregame script. Those are plays you practice over and over and execute the best. I also didn't think ND could duplicate running their QB that many times on repeated drives and have him actually make it through the game. I also figured that Knowles would make adjustments after that drive. If ND would have done a similar thing on their next drive I would have been a little concerned but as we know that didn't happen.
