We know that Oregon abused our defense at Autzen in October. We know that Day took steps to correct it and the defense became #1 after that, pressuring QBs and rarely giving up TDs.  We know that Knowles vs LJ was a thing. 
Hard for me to believe that Day affected defensive X’s and O’s.  I think he laid down the law between these two.  
 

So who won ? LJ is still standing so it looks like he did - it just looked like the defense was Knowles’ in the historic run.
