There’s something I haven’t seen talked about much if at all. Coach Day won a national championship with a team comprised entirely of players that he recruited or brought to Ohio State via transfer.

No coach can claim that at Ohio State since Woody. He may have been “born on third base”, according to a man who has never won anything legitimately. But if that’s the case then so was Tress and Urb.
 

Day is a superstar coach. The struggles against TCUN will go away and will hopefully lead to a long and illustrious coaching career at THE Ohio State University. 
 

Those of you that are still on the fire Day train, it’s time to get off it. Day is a kicker away from having two national championships in 6 years and wins 85% of his games and is in his mid 40s. If you would have said that the day he was hired im willing to bet that 99% of the fan base would have taken that in a heartbeat. 
 

He may not be from Ohio, but he’s an Ohio State guy, you can see the love and passion he has for this team and university. 
 

You don’t know what you got til it’s gone, so lets hope we don’t have to worry about that for the foreseeable future, give the guy and his family a break. Hopefully he has earned the support and respect of our “Lunatic Fringe”.
