Baron Browning is staying with the Arizona Cardinals.
The former Ohio State linebacker, who’s now an edge rusher for the Cardinals, signed a two-year contract extension with a base value of $15 million with Arizona on Sunday, one day before he was set to become a free agent.

The Cardinals acquired Browning from the Denver Broncos last November in exchange for a sixth-round draft pick. He recorded 14 total tackles with four tackles for loss and two sacks in his first eight games in Arizona.
A third-round draft pick in 2021, Browning spent three-and-a-half years with the Broncos before his trade to the Cardinals. He recorded 114 tackles with 9.5 sacks in 43 games with the Broncos.
