A little tongue-in-cheek, but still a head scratching correlation. For the 20 or so year sample this century, we have been blessed by getting these elite HS QBs to sign with the good guys :

- Justin Zwick (didn't pan out, but still a 5 star recruit, the likes we haven't been able to sniff the previous 20 or so years)
- Troy Smith
- Braxton Miller
- Dwayne Haskins
- Joe Burrow
- Justin Fields
- CJ Stroud
- Kyle McCord
- JT Barrett (people forget his high ranking)
Yet the 3 Natty's we do win in this stretch were with QBs well below this echelon.
A little crazy, don't you think? We're certainly screwed for the foreseeable future with Sayin, St. Clair and company. I'd say just forfeit now or else pray Day can land a 3 star from the post Spring portal before it's too late.
