Happy Monday, Eleven Warriors!
We’re about a month away from several Buckeyes finding their first homes in the National Football League, so let’s do a bit of looking ahead for This Week’s Question and ask: Which Player in Ohio State’s Anticipated 2025 Draft Class Do You Believe Has the Best Opportunity to Be an NFL Hall of Famer?
I’m going to go out on a limb here and say Will Howard. He sold me on his ability down the stretch of the season, and I think he can flourish if he winds up in a similar situation to OSU with respect to just needing to distribute the ball evenly and effectively to pre-existing playmakers.
My hope for this draft as a Steelers fan is that Pittsburgh drafts TreVeyon Henderson or Quinshon Judkins at pick 52 to replace Najee Harris, then grabs Howard at 83 to compete for the starting job or perhaps study under Aaron Rodgers for a year. Howard would have two excellent receivers in the form of D.K. Metcalf and George Pickens alongside a backfield mate he already has some chemistry with to get his NFL career off to a strong start. Justin Fields notwithstanding, the Steelers typically take care of their Buckeyes, so I can see Howard hanging around for his entire career on his way to Canton.
But what about you? Which Ohio State player in the upcoming draft class are you most optimistic about eventually earning a gold jacket?
