So I don't know who all has or hasn't watched the Netflix series Last Chance U, this post isn't directly tied into it, but obviously sparked an interesting question in my mind...
Is there any reason why Ohio State doesn't dip into the JUCO pool more to get some players? I think Antwuan Jackson was the last guy they got that went the JUCO route, but he was high on the Buckeye radar before a failed campaign at Auburn.
Is there a stigma about JUCO or is it a thought to just automatically to be lesser than even if the player puts out good film?
Just wondering if anyone has any insight as Ohio State looks to rebuild the back end of the defense and probably add a LB, I know the transfer portal is more than likely the preferred route if they can't get the exact guys they want out of high school, but seems like a player that keeps his nose clean in JUCO and puts out good tape at a position of need would be a take?
