Mark Pantoni has added a new assistant to his staff.

Nick Murphy, who was previously Charlotte’s director of player personnel, announced Monday that he has joined Ohio State’s staff as the director of recruiting strategy.

The hire of Murphy, a Coastal Carolina graduate who also previously worked at USF and Texas, comes after the departure of former Ohio State assistant director of player personnel Weston Zernechel, who now works for USC.
