Ohio State has added another new staffer to its recruiting department.
Cass Simmons, who was previously an assistant offensive line coach at Stephen F. Austin, is joining Ohio State as a recruiting assistant.

Simmons is the latest addition to a player personnel department that has already added multiple new staffers this offseason. Former Western Kentucky director of player personnel Zach Grant became Ohio State’s director of player personnel – taking the title previously held by Mark Pantoni before his promotion to general manager – in February. Former Charlotte director of player personnel Nick Murphy also joined the Buckeyes in February as Ohio State’s director of recruiting strategy.
