Jaheim Singletary was one of the early highlights of Ohio State's 2022 recruiting class... until he flipped to Georgia. Well, apparently, he is back on the market, as the former five-star Jacksonville product entered the transfer portal last Friday. This was just four days after the Bulldogs' 65-to-7 thrashing of TCU in the college football playoff national championship game.
Along with an outpouring of support came a ton of excitement, especially from a ton of Buckeye fans who flooded the comment section when Singletary tweeted the news that he would be entering the portal. Although there are some thoughts of where he might land, it's all speculation as of right now.
All I know is that it sure would be nice to see him suit up in scarlet and gray next fall for a secondary that, quite frankly, could use all the help it can get. Just ask UM quarterback J.J. McCarthy whose waving of goodbye to the Buckeye faithful in the waning moments of 'The Game' is not a pleasant memory of mine.
