I'm not asking for the obvious, "he's not a fit", or "coach J and Day have decided they have better fish out there".  There's got to be something else doesn't there?  I'm not even saying those reasons aren't true, but even if they are, shouldn't we try to take him just to keep him away from scUM?  Sounds to me like he'd be very interested in accepting an offer.  Maybe he busts, maybe he doesn't, but this guy definitely seems like the kind of Ohio guy that could come back to bite us in The Game if we don't get him on board.
