I’ve always dismissed rugby as combining the worst aspects of two sports that I love, football and futbol. It has all of the dull slogging and violence of football with (seemingly) none of the strategy or explosive grace. It has all of the random chaos of futbol with none of the artistry and flow. Still, I admit those positions are born in ignorance, and I actually enjoyed today’s game even without really getting how things work. So, how about it, any 11W ruggers here want to take a minute to educate me?
