This was a touching moment that exceeds sports. The Angels beat the mariners 13-0, with a 454 foot home run from Trout (Skaggs # was 45.) Taylor Cole threw 2 innings and Felix Pena threw 7 innings. After the game, all the Angels took off their jerseys (all wearing 45) and placed them on the mound. This is sort of similar when Dee Gordon hit a lead off homerun for the Marlins when Jose Fernandez died.
