The Michigan High School Athletic Association announced at 4 pm this afternoon that there will be no HS football permitted this fall in the entire state.  The reason given was that football is considered a high risk sport for Covid transmission because it involves "face to face " contact. 

Apparently we are now at the point where any cases of Covid 19 is unacceptable. None. 

The MHSAA is permitting other fall HS sports such as swimming and volleyball to continue as they are considered low risk. 

Be forewarned, this will spread to other states.
