The Detroit Lions fired Brayden Coombs for trying to spark some life into yet another terrible season by them.  He called for a fake punt attempt, apparently without the consent of the interim head coach.  Prior to his firing, he was considered a hot up-and-coming commodity in the NFL, and if you didn't know, is the son of our coach Coombs.

I say we bring him in to consult with our special teams.  We could use a couple big plays next weekend!
