I didn’t realize until the broadcasters mentioned it tonight that this is the first postseason win since 1994.  Holy cow!  I thought Knicks fans had it rough.

I realize that it’s harder to qualify for the NFL playoffs than the NBA playoffs and that there are fewer opportunities to win postseason games since it’s a single-elimination format instead of best-of-five or best-of-seven—but still, that was one helluva drought.

I imagine at least some of you got a bit tense when the Steelers cut it to 12 early in the 4th quarter.  Nonetheless, this was indeed an impressive win and I hope you all have something else to celebrate tomorrow night.
