CJ is looking great this year.  Leading the Texans to 5 wins and gaining the trust of his teammates.  The last 10 MVPs were all quarterbacks.  2012 was the last year a non quarterback won the award when Adrian Peterson won. There was talk during the Bengals broadcast that Burrow was now in the MVP hunt as he was trying to come back to win the game, but Stroud outplayed him for his second last minute win in a row.

Passing Yards (2nd), Passing Yds/Game (1st), Interceptions (1st), TDs  (T-9th), QBR (10th), RTG (6th), passes over 20 yds (1st), 1st down passes (3rd), passing Yds per attempt (3rd)

He currently only trails Sam Howell in passing yards, who is a great story, but Stroud is a difference maker for the Texans.  The Texans are one game back in their division.  The rest of their schedule is ARI, JAX, DEN, NYJ, TEN, CLE, TEN, IND.  Puts them in a great spot to make the playoffs. 
 

Vegas MVP odds had him between 2500 and 3500 before the weekend, now between 1600 and 3000. It may be Mahomes, Tua, or Lamar’s lead right now, but Stroud is rising.
