He has a very legitimate case as the worst bust in NFL history. Made it 18 games before the team threw in the towel. Even Jamarcus lasted longer than that.
This isn’t to throw dirt on him, as by all accounts he’s a good kid, but it’s crazy how QB evaluations continue to just be a total crapshoot. Hopefully for his sake he can bounce around as a backup QB for a while and make some money.
Also crazy how good Stroud has been, who was taken next, and how so much of your career is dictated by the luck of where you land. Stroud has a competent coach and a stable franchise. The Panthers are a dumpster fire, and it’s entirely possible that Stroud would have failed there just like Young did.
