I know the site needs to advertise to make money. And I know that any time a member questions the advertisements that pop up, a staff member usually chimes in saying the ads are based on our browsing history.

But I want to know, why on Earth are all these U of M ads popping up every time I log in? What could I possibly have done to deserve this?
