Last year we had to cancel the Eleven Dubgate for reasons you probably remember, e.g. 2020 in general.

Unfortunately this year we need to kick the can down the road again, but for tangential reasons that are super boring, like liability insurance is wildly different since 2019, there’s a backlog getting liquor permits for one-time functions and our donors are dealing with supply chain and labor issues which impacts what they can contribute to a charity function.

If you’re shocked that Dubgates are legitimate, insured events with all of the proper paperwork in place then you’re not alone, we can’t believe it either. It’s come a long way since we ran it out of a borrowed RV miles from campus.

It was originally scheduled for this Saturday, and I held off on formally killing it for several weeks because I really did not want to. But yeah, wait til next year, again, hopefully. Sorry, comrades.
