The Buckeyes don't have to be the only winner this weekend.
On Saturday, No. 2 Ohio State will travel to the Beaver State, where it will face off against head coach Dan Lanning, quarterback Dillon Gabriel and No. 3 Oregon at 4:30 p.m. PST / 7:30 p.m. EST. The Buckeyes have dominated the Ducks, winning nine of 10 matchups overall, including the 2010 Rose Bowl and the 2014 College Football Playoff national championship.

The Prediction
Will Howard has been Ohio State's QB1 in the team's wins over Akron, Western Michigan, Marshall, Michigan State and Iowa. Howard completed 93 of 130 passes (71.5 percent) for 1,248 yards, 12 touchdowns and three interceptions in those contests. He also ran for another four scores.
Combine those five appearances with the 34 he made across four seasons at Kansas State, and Howard has appeared in 39 games in his college career, collecting 7,034 passing yards, 60 passing touchdowns and 28 interceptions with 985 rushing yards and 23 rushing touchdowns.
Given Howard's notable experience — including some big-time games, such as the 2022 Big 12 Championship against TCU — the question remains: What kind of performance will he have in Ohio State's primetime matchup with Oregon?
