The Ohio State men's volleyball team will play for an NCAA championship Saturday. The Buckeyes earned their title ticket Thursday night by besting the UCLA Bruins in the semifinals.
The Bruins beat the Buckeyes in their first meeting way back in January by a score of three sets to one. UCLA looked as it might be poised for another victory Thursday night, when it won the first set against the Buckeyes, 25-22.
Ohio State, however, battled back and won the next two sets, 25-21 and 25-22. The Bruins responded to win the fourth set, 25-20, before the Buckeyes won the penultimate fifth set 18-16.
