Saturday night wasn't just the opening game of the season for the Ohio State Buckeyes football team. The Best Damn Band in the Land also debuted their 2022 squad, one that continues to impress just like every other season. There's clearly a reason they have that nickname.
Whether it was their usual Script Ohio and Carmen Ohio prior to the game or the "Buckeye Jazz Cafe" halftime show, TBDBITL proved, yet again, that they are the best in the business. Add in the fact that they had a drone show during their halftime performance and it was yet another wrinkle that makes that group so special year in and year out.
In front of 106,594 fans in Ohio Stadium – the highest attendance since Ohio State’s win over Michigan State in 2017 (107,011) – that included plenty of celebrities, it was TBDBITL that stole the show at times, especially during halftime.
