This Week in Twitter is a look at some of the week's best and most entertaining tweets from Buckeyeland and beyond.

We start on a somber note as Ohio State freshman wide receiver Carnell Tate lost his mother, Ashley Griggs, in a drive-by shooting in Chicago last Sunday. Tate received plenty of public support from members of Buckeye Nation and beyond, who offered their condolences for his tragic loss.

On a lighter note, Justin Fields was seen giving back to the youth in Chicago on multiple occasions this week as the former Buckeye quarterback continues to win the hearts of Bears fans ahead of his third year in the NFL.

Fields also named his top five running quarterbacks in NFL history, a list on which he included himself.

Fields' 2019 Buckeye teammate and fellow first-round NFL draft pick Chase Young was spotted in Columbus this week as the Washington pass rusher spent time refining his skills with Ohio State defensive line coach Larry Johnson.

Ohio State unveiled brand new alternate gray uniforms for its Nov. 11 home matchup with Michigan State on Friday, and several Buckeyes gave positive responses to the new threads on Twitter.

A couple of former Buckeyes had some laughs at the expense of a Rivals article that pondered whether or not Wisconsin has the best wide receiver room in the Big Ten this season.

Marvin Harrison Jr., whose sheer presence on the Buckeye roster makes the aforementioned notion laughable, weighed in on what he believes to be the best college wide receiver room of all time.

Marv also earned a notable sponsorship with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's energy drink company, among other college athletes around the country.

Marv wasn't the only Buckeye putting in work on the NIL front, as a slew of Ohio State players were seen working with Rick Ricart of the Ricart Automotive Group.

The Buckeyes are spending plenty of time in the practice facility, too, as the program teased the start of preseason camp with a summer workout video this week.

Harrison isn't the only Buckeye wideout who is gaining momentum ahead of the coming season, as Emeka Egbuka earned high praise in the form of a comparison to an NFL star.

Egbuka, Harrison, Kyle McCord and Sonny Styles all interacted with Buckeye fans at Mark Wahlberg Chevrolet of Columbus on Saturday at a meet and greet that featured autograph signing and picture-taking with the Ohio State stars.

Egbuka was a busy man this weekend as the Buckeye wideout also won the Home Run Derby at the fourth annual Cardale Jones Charity Softball Game at Huntington Park on Friday evening.

On the basketball front, Ohio's own Colin White – a top-five prospect in the state and an Ottawa-Glandorf product in the 2024 class – earned an offer from Chris Holtmann and company.
