This Week in Twitter is a look at some of the week's best and most entertaining tweets from Buckeyeland and beyond.
Ohio State running backs coach Tony Alford shocked many by jumping ship from Columbus in the middle of spring practice for archrival Michigan. Eleven Warriors gathered plenty of initial reactions from the Twittersphere but more have poured in since, both supportive of Alford and not-so-supportive.

Speaking of spring, there weren't any practice sessions this week for Ohio State due to spring break, but that didn't stop freshman quarterback Julian Sayin from getting some extra work in.

Ohio State released a "mic'd up" for its star defensive ends and Jack Sawyer wants a chance to play some tight end in the red zone, aptly pointing out he already wears an eligible receiver number.

Former Ohio State offensive tackle Paris Johnson Jr. said this week that he's been enticing wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. to join him with the Arizona Cardinals since he was drafted last year. The Cardinals hold the fourth pick in the 2024 NFL draft, and ESPN's latest mock draft has them taking Harrison there.
"He said he wanted to be a Cardinal."

Elsewhere in the NFL world, free agency rolls on. Former Buckeye safety Vonn Bell is returning to the Cincinnati Bengals, the team he had some of his most productive years for from 2020 through 2022. Seven seconds is all the team's account needed to drum up some excitement.

Another former Buckeye safety in Jordan Fuller is on the move from the Los Angeles Rams to the Carolina Panthers.

C.J. Stroud is getting Buckeye backup with the Houston Texans, as not only did the team re-sign former Ohio State receiver Noah Brown this week but it added former OSU cornerback and first-round draft pick Jeff Okudah to its defensive backfield. It's been part of a larger effort to build around Stroud in free agency that also featured star Minnesota Vikings pass rusher Danielle Hunter.

Speaking of basketball, Ohio State saw its NCAA Tournament hopes come to a likely end on Friday, falling 77-74 in the quarterfinals of the Big Ten Tournament to second-seeded Illinois. Former Buckeye walk-on turned commentator Joey Lane seems to have been among the most heartbroken. The Buckeyes had 27 fouls whistled against them to the Fighting Illini's 13.
Havent moved. So sad right now.

For his part, the team's interim head coach, Jake Diebler, kept the focus on his players per usual.
Battled all the way to the end tonight. Not the result we wanted, but proud of the fight and resilience from this group. https://t.co/rriTQbhGCr

Diebler is gaining traction to become the Buckeyes' next full-time head coach, with the Columbus Dispatch reporting that he and Dusty May are the two candidates it is between. With Ohio State winning six of its last eight games to close the season, Diebler won support from former players Lane and JJ Sullinger, even if he stayed mostly mum about the topic postgame.
Going on record as a former alum... I want nothing more than @JakeDiebler to get the gig. It's his show!! He is HIM!
