Even in the dog days of summer, the past week still proved to be an impressive one for Ohio State sports. On Monday, eight Buckeyes saw themselves selected among the 42 total picks in the Professional Women's Hockey League draft — including two of the top five overall picks.
Put another way, that's nearly a fifth of an entire professional sport's draft representation arriving out of one school. Nadine Muzerall must be proud!

Later in the week, Marvin Harrison Jr. took the mound at the Arizona Diamondbacks game to throw out the first pitch alongside fellow rookie and Cardinals teammate Darius Robinson. Harrison Jr. may not have an arm quite like his former quarterback C.J. Stroud, but perhaps he'd make a great catcher given his hands!

Meanwhile, after making a name for himself earlier this year at The Masters, Neal Shipley has heads turning again this week during another major tournament at the U.S. Open. Shipley sank some sharp putts earlier in the week before driving the green in stunning fashion on a par-4 today.

Football season will be here before you know it, Buckeye fans. You are not alone in counting down the days — the players are eager to see the field again, too.
