LeBron James showed Thursday night just how seriously he takes the Ohio State-Michigan rivalry.
The NBA superstar wore Ohio State-inspired scarlet and gray shoes, complete with the “M” crossed out in his last name, in the Los Angeles Lakers’ game against the Chicago Bulls on Thursday night.

While James didn’t play college basketball, the Akron, Ohio, native is one of Ohio State’s most famous fans. He attended Ohio State football’s national championship game win over Notre Dame in January and has been a longtime supporter of Buckeye sports, providing apparel to both the football and basketball teams on numerous occasions over the years.
James put up 17 points, 12 assists and five rebounds in Thursday’s game, but the Bulls beat the Lakers 119-117 on a last-second heave by Josh Giddey.
