Ohio State blows out Indiana, 38-15. Now, it's time to do the same to That Team Up North.
Ohio State's top commitment in the 2019 class is set to play his senior season of high school basketball outside the state of Ohio.
According to a report from The Columbus Dispatch, Alonzo Gaffney is set to transfer to Brewster Academy in New Hampshire for his final season of prep hoops, leaving Garfield Heights near Cleveland.
Gaffney was the first player to commit to Chris Holtmann in the 2019 cycle and is currently rated as the No. 31 overall prospect in his class according to 247sports. He committed to the Buckeyes on April 10, and was joined in the class by D.J. Carton earlier this month.
The Cleveland native becomes the third premier prospect to transfer to Brewster Academy in the last 24 hours joining class of 2021 forward Terrence Clark and 2019 point guard Jalen Lecque. While Clark is still unranked in his cycle by 247sports, Lecque is the No. 13 overall player in his class according to the recruiting service.
Other notable names to transfer to Brewster Academy over the years include current Utah Jazz star Donovan Mitchell, former Michigan star Mitch McGary and former Kansas forward Thomas Robinson.
