Early in the season, Ohio State senior point guard Shannon Scott has been in quite the giving mood.
On Monday, the Big Ten decided to give back.
Scott was named the Co-Big Ten Player of the Week on Monday afternoon after dishing out 30 assists in the Buckeyes' two wins last week over Marquette and Sacred Heart. He shares the honor with Wisconsin's Frank Kaminsky.
Against the Golden Eagles, Scott finished with eight points and 14 assists. Against the Pioneers, however, Scott was even better. He dished out a school-record 16 assists and scored 11 points for his second-career double-double.
Scott currently has 41 assists through the first three games of the year and leads the country averaging 13.7 per game.
