Thanks to a big effort from sophomore Jae'Sean Tate (21 points, 9 rebounds) and junior Marc Loving (15 points, 11 rebounds), Ohio State knocked off Mount St. Mary's 76-54 in the 2015 men's basketball season opener this afternoon at the Schottenstein Center.
The win, Thad Matta's 300th as the head coach at Ohio State, saw periods of sporadic play but a consistent shooting effort from the Buckeyes who finished 50-percent from the floor, 41.7-percent from three-point land and 14 of 17 from the charity stripe.
Eleven Warriors was there to take in the festivities and here the view from courtside.
