Thad Matta's young Buckeye basketball team tried to bounce back from their disappointing loss last Friday to UT-Arlington but ran into another problem tonight: Louisiana Tech.
The Bulldogs, led by guard Alexander Hamilton's 24 points, withstood a number of Ohio State runs and beat the Buckeyes 82-74.
Junior Marc Loving paced the Buckeyes with 25 points, but another less-than-stellar performance at the free throw line (63-percent, 17-27) kept Ohio State just outside of striking distance late.
