Ohio State's Kam Williams is one of the top sixth men in the Big Ten. The redshirt junior sharpshooting guard averaged 8.3 points per game last season for the Buckeyes and shot a league-leading 51.5 percent from behind the 3-point line in conference games.
But in addition to his long-range shooting and pregame dunk routines, what also makes Williams so beloved is his famed haircut, a majestic mohawk resting atop his head. It gives Williams a certain swagger, one which he certainly displays on the court quite often.
"I don’t really have a bad hair day," Williams said this summer. "The only time it’s bad is when I haven’t gotten it shaped up on the sides. Other than that I think it looks pretty good.”
A brief history, in photos, of Kam Williams' incredible haircut:
First, a look at the modest mohawk prior to Williams' redshirt freshman season in 2014-15.
During that season, Williams actually shaved his head before allowing it all to grow back.
From there, things only started to go back up.
And finally, a most-recent version:
Long live Kam Williams' haircut. It's exactly what the Big Ten needs.
