The Ohio State basketball squad returned to the hardwood on Saturday afternoon for an exhibition game against Walsh. Only an eight-point game at the half, the Buckeyes used a 16-3 run to come away with a 85-67 win in front of an announced crowd of 11,724.
Point guard JaQuan Lyle was one of four players in double figures, leading the Buckeyes with 14 points and six rebounds. Forwad Keita Bates-Diop finished with 12 points, guard Kam Williams scored 11 and forwad Jae'Sean Tate added 10 points and four rebounds.
Ohio State opens the regular season as part of the Veterans Classic at the Naval Academy on Friday.
