After a tumultuous two seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers that included a feud with teammate Nick Young, former Ohio State basketball star D'Angelo Russell has been traded to the Brooklyn Nets.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical, Russell is being shipped to the borough with center Tim Mozgov for center Brook Lopez and the 27th overall pick in Thursday night's NBA Draft.

Russell averaged 15.6 points, 4.8 assists and 3.5 rebounds per game and shot about 40 percent from the field in his sophomore season in Tinseltown. The trade positions the Lakers to make a run at Indiana's Paul George and Cleveland's LeBron James next summer.
