Ohio State head basketball coach Chris Holtmann made the trip down I-71 to catch a Cincinnati Reds game and throw out the first pitch Thursday night.

The last few days have been good to Holtmann, who has landed a pair of verbal commitments in the 2018 class. On Tuesday, four-star Jaedon LeDee committed to Ohio State, and one day later three-star point guard Duane Washington followed suit.
The Buckeyes are set to host in-state recruit Justin Ahrens this weekend. The Versailles, Ohio product listed Ohio State, Michigan and Xavier as his top-three schools on Aug. 26.
