The Golden State Warriors, the reigning NBA champions, announced the signing of former Ohio State center Trevor Thompson on Friday.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The 23-year-old averaged 10.6 points, 9.2 rebounds, 1.5 blocks, in 23 minutes per game last season with the Buckeyes.
He last played with the Boston Celtics in the Summer League after going undrafted.
