In the first half of Saturday afternoon’s matchup against Minnesota, redshirt junior Keita Bates-Diop scored his 1000th career point, becoming the 55th player to do so in Ohio State history.
The forward from Normal, Illinois — who missed all but nine games of last season with a leg injury — also became the 28th member of the 1000 point, 500 rebound club at Ohio State.
Bates-Dop collected his 500th carom in the win Wednesday night at Northwestern.
