Keita Bates-Diop's season might be over, but the Ohio State star forward continues to collect postseason accolades.
The redshirt-junior was named a second team All-American by the National Association of Basketball Coaches on Wednesday, just days after dropping 28 points in a 90-84 loss to Gonzaga in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
Bates-Diop finished the 2017-18 season as the Big Ten Player of the Year, averaging 19.8 points and 8.7 rebounds per game, while leading Ohio State to a second place finish in the conference.
The Normal, Ill. native has yet to make a decision as to whether or not he will return to school for a fifth season. Bates-Diop has already graduated and is considered a late first to early second round draft prospect by many analysts.
